Story Placements for Carousels

Unfortunately, Placement Asset Customization (PAC) for Carousel ads is currently not possible as a Third-Party Developer via the Facebook Ads API.
We have built a workaround, though:
- Add the Meta Chrome Extension by Kitchn.io to your browser: https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/meta-ads-manager-helper-b/jodnncgnhfdaoikfecnjiehncbnhcpki
- Prepare your ads by creating regular carousel cards. Select default assets first and your vertical assets after. For example, if you want to create a Carousel ad with 4 carousel cards, add the 4 feed assets first and then add the other 4 Story assets.
- Upload the ads to Faceboo, open Ads Manager and select the relevant ad(s).
- Then using this Chrome Extension click on "Load Ad IDs" and then "Convert Carousel Ads".
- Select all relevant Story placements and continue: All relevant placement customizations will be created automatically and the Ad Creative will be updated.
Limitation: A maximum of 5 PAC'd carousel cards are supported as the limit of carousel cards is 10.
